Need a diagnosis: You could possess primary hip pathology such as a bony problem, but may have referred pain from sacra-iliac joint or even lumbar spine. Local nerve pain could cause symptoms over thing, meralgia paresthetica. See your physician and get anatomy clarified. Treatment success should follow.
