A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chlamydia: If you had salpingitis (infection in the fallopian tubes) it may produce scarring and changes which can conceivably create an infertility problem. At this stage if you are being treated it may be impossible to tell if this has affected your tubes, but once it clears up if you try to become pregnant and are having trouble a salpingogram may help define the issue.
