Exercise,hot soakleg: Resless leg syndrome (rls) is considered a sleep disorder. Need to check out iron deficiency, peripheral neuropathies, renal function, and certain medications. If all negative, can try exercise and hot soak to both feet (10 minutes) before bed.Or rx medication for RLS are Mirapex & requip (ropinirole). Others like Klonopin and Neurontin help also.

Multiple: Dopamine agonists work best and include ropinorole, pramipexole, the new Neupro (rotigotine) patch. More traditional meds have included l-dopa, and clonazepam. If you have anemia or kidney disease, better treatment of these conditions may work. Check serum ferritin as some folks may have issues with iron metabolism. Rls is occasionally associated with ms>.
