Sounds normal: When you take a morning after pill, it can alter the subsequent period. You can have early bleeding or late bleeding, or prolonged spotting. These symptoms should resolve after your next menstrual cycle. To be 100% safe, if you've had sex in the last couple of weeks, you may want to take a pregnancy test in a week or two, since this whole cycle may not be normal.

Of course not: Emergency contraception can interfere, interrupt and change menstrual periods for up to two months.
