You can keep: There's no reason that you 'have to have' a period. If you can imagine it, before birth control many women were either pregnant or breastfeeding for the majority of their reproductive lives.... Thus not having periods that whole time. You may want to discuss with the doctor who prescribed you the medication, but there's really not a harm in not having a period. Hope that helps.
