Could B multifaceted: Back pain can be caused from a number of things: previous surgeries (fascial scar adhesions), trauma, motor vehicle accidents, diseases, scoliosis, poor posture, medical conditions (visceral-somatic reflexes). All the different vector forces come into play to cause pain/discomfort/spasms. You would benefit from seeing an osteopathic physician, who could do a complete musculoskeletal examination, and treat you osteopathically to relieve your pain and discomfort.
