The occipital lobe : Is inside the brain. Perhaps you meant the occipital area (nape of neck), as that can happen and be bothersome. You rate it as 2-4/10, which isn't bad, and you might have a muscular contraction, or vascular issues that's causing this to occur. So, it's best to see your doctor, and have it evaluated, if it hasn't changed or improved by now.
