if it's very dangerous to hold the laptop on your lap then how come it's not dangerous holding the iphone on your hand?

I don't agree: Why have you heard it's dangerous to hold a laptop on your lap? At least from the medical standpoint, i think you're going to find it pretty hard to substantiate that claim. There have long been people worrying about cell phones causing brain cancer due to radiation, but even those studies haven't been terribly convincing as is evidenced by them still being made.

Only if it is hot: Increased heat to the testes can have an effect on the sperm count. Otherwise use of a laptop shoulf not affect the sperm count.
