Unclear: Your husband could have virtually anything. His symptoms are entirely non-specific. He needs a thorough evaluation. Some of the possibilities could be very serious. If his illness is acute, i wouldn't delay.

Neuropathy: Your husband may have a sweating disorder due to diabetes related nerve damage. This means he has advanced "microvascular" complications. Best to see a diabetes specialist to intensify his treatment.
