Vomiting: Repetitive vomiting in a 4 month old without fever or diarrhea would raise the possibility of gastroesophageal reflux disease( gerd) especially if there is excessive crying and arching of the back and neck ( sandifer syndrome).

Influenza : Infants may not exhibit typical findings of influenza and the exposure is of concern. Please see your pediatrician and discuss Tamiflu and screening for the flu. Provide small, frequent feeding.

Basics: An infants prime vulnerability here is dehydration. If they take in enough fluids to pee every 6-8 hrs they are not in a worrisome state. If they go 8-12 hrs without a void they need to be seen. Sometimes small (1/2 to 1 oz/every 10 min)fluid feeds with pedialyte or similar product can help the stomach settle. If the kid spooks you at any point have it seen.
