Not sinusitis: I have answered this question before. So here we go again. The paranasal sinuses in the face are not related to the balance mechanisms in the inner ear or the brain. So sinusitis can not directly cause imbalance. But a viral infection can cause both rhino-sinusitis and inner ear infection.
