35 weeks 3 days: A normal due date (edc) is calculated based on a 40 weeks (280 days) from the first day of the last normal menstrual period (there are other criteria if the lnmp is unknown). By convention, the gestational age is the number of weeks (and days) completed. If you are due on may 16, 2012 and today is april 14, 2012, you are 35 weels and 3 days gestational age.
