Expired med: If expiration is 3/12 (end of march 2012) is just a few days experied. Won't be a problem.

In general: Recommend that expired oxymetazoline not be used. The longer past the expiration date - the more concerning. After the episode that oxymetazoline has been used for passes – toss the container (to avoid contamination). So, regardless of how old the advil (ibuprofen) is - if it was previously used by you or someone else- don't recommend using it again.
