M.D. visit: A baby's stomach is small - if the baby is throwing up milk, there are many possibilities. Infections can occur and it is important to check his temperature and to call your pediatrician. A condition called pyloric stenosis may cause vomiting. Smaller feeds more frequently will allow the stomach to empty. Breast milk is the best, but if you are using commercial formula, one that is easily digested.

How much: Thrown up. How much formula at a time and do you burp the baby after every 1-2 oz. Discuss with your baby's doctor to make sure there is not another problem.
