Usually nothing: Reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy folks fall outside on either end. It's common for a young man in robust good health to have red cell parameters a bit above the high end. If you're a smoker, this is your wake-up call to stop; if you have sleep-apnea, this is your warning, and i trust you're not on gym steroids. All okay? You're fine. Be glad.
