Take as prescribed: Only take the medication as prescribed. Ativan (lorazepam) is usually used as a rescue medication for anxiety and panic attacks. It is not recommended to use as a preventative medication. Do not take it to prevent anxiety from occuring, only take it when you get anxiety or panic attacks as an emergency medication. This med is highly addicting and you will become dependent on it.

I am a bit : Concerned as to whether the Ativan (lorazepam) was prescribed to you. If you got it from a friend or from a family member, be forewarned that it is dangerous to take medication not prescribed to you. Unfortunately there is a tend among teenagers to try Ativan (lorazepam) and other drugs. Talk to your parents about your anxiety and get professional help.
