How long for my symptoms of anxiety and insomnia from 1 dose of 10 mg celexa (citalopram) to get better? i stopped it as i never had anxiety before i took this.

Half life of meds: Why were you rx'd celexa, (citalopram) as that is used for anxiety? All drugs have half lives, where half the drug is metabolized fully and out of your system. Within a few days, there is little drug left in your system from a 10mg tablet of celexa, (citalopram) so after a week, you would be fine. The question is did the med cause your stress, or do you have underlying stress that needs treatment already? Best wishes.
