my wife is 5 weeks pregnant and she has been bleeding for last few days due to a vaginal hematoma? we have a 7 hour flight in two weeks. should we go?

Maybe: Bleeding in early pregnancy is common and in her case it is confused by the vaginal hematoma (how did this happen?). Blood from the hematoma is likely to be dark, and bright red bleeding is likely from the pregnancy. I would have her followup with her ob/gyn weekly to examine the area. The answer to this question will depend how it looks right before the trip. She also needs an ultrasound.
