Check with surgeon: During the healing phase you are more likely to get an infection as the mucus is not moving through the sinuses correctly. Your surgeon may want to see you sooner or prescribe antibiotics.

Sinuplasty: Hello. I think that is too early to say that the procedure failed. Often times allergy may be present that causes added inflammation within the nasal cavity. Also the new opening within the drainage pathways may still have inflammation. See your ENT surgeon. Typically I begin nasal steroid spray to help resolve this swelling. Good luck.
