No: Hi, it's usually abnormally low calcium levels that cause neuromuscular irritability as manifested by tetany and muscular twitching.

Eyelid Spasm: Blepharospasm can be caused by stress and facial nerve problems. It can also be caused by low calcium, especially if pressure is placed or tapping on the face. High calcium is not known to cause blepharospasm.
