Not normal: It is not normal, but it's not surprising due to all the physical stress of surgery, in addition to the medications you may have received. Also, excess body fat contributes to estrogen levels (beyond the normal ovarian estrogen), and that can make uterine bleeding more pronounced. If the bleeding persists for more than one month, or if it is very heavy, please see your gyn for an evaluation.
