Otherwise it could be a number of other things like, fibroids, polyps, hormonal imbalance, ovarian cysts, pregnancy and also need to make sure it is not malignancy. Sometimes uterine cancer can present as abnormal bleeding. It depends on your age as well since uterine cancer is rare in women less than 40 yo.
