Be careful....: Yes, you're sick of taking meds, and yeah, you've seen your friends go off of meds successfully ( for how long?)....But...Everyone is different! please talk to your md before making any changes in your meds....You want to do well, don't you? The last thing you need is to go off your meds and have everything fall apart and have to start from scratch again....

Beware: Medications only treat bipolar disorder they cannot cure the condition. We benefit will only last wihile treatment is continued course of illness very greatly from individual to individual untreated the duration between episodes can be months or even years prevention is the key because recurrent episodes can be more severe harder to treat and take longer to recover from.
