Hypertension: If your systolic blood pressure readings are greater than 140, you have high blood pressure which should be treated. If you are already taking medications for high blood pressure, they should be adjusted, or new medication added for better control.

May need adjustment: According to JNC8 pathients who are 60 years of age or older and do not have diabetes or chronic kidney disease But you have Diabetes and for you the goal is 140/90 and if your systolic is over 140.you may need adjustment in your therapy Discuss with your doctor about your BP Control
