Dentist: The best thing is to go to the dentist and see if the baby tooth is really ready to come out. If so, the dentist can numb up the area with local anesthetic and extract the tooth very painlessly and easily. If a baby tooth is really ready to come out, the child can get it out himself most of the time. If he/she is stubborn and won't do it, let the dentist do it.
