A member asked:

Which specimen is require for direct fluorescent antibody and immunoassay test for detecting c.trachcomatis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Jasyn Haney answered

Either: A sample of urethral specimen is needed and this depends on what lab is used. A urethral swab or urine is common. See your clinic and what is offered.
