Hiv risk: If there is a chance of blood transfer from the HIV infected person to you, then you are at risk especially if his blood falls on a cracked skin or worse off mucosal membrane.

Its a gamble: Hiv is transmitted through bodily fluids such as blood, semen, excretions. Etc. You need to be really careful kissing someone with HIV because even though HIV levels are low in saliva, they can be in an open wound in the mouth and can be transmitted that way.

Bleeding gums: Hiv is a virus passed on by blood interaction so if both have bleeding gums or cuts in mouth or tongue than transmission is possible.If cavities not large where there is no blood present than no transmission.
