Go to ENT: Tuba aperta is also know as patulous eustachian tube. The tube usually is closed. In this condition the tube intermittently opens. "when this happens the pt experiences autophony the hearing of self generated sounds. These sounds such as ones own breathing, voice and heartbeat vibrate directly onto the the ear drum and create a bucket on the head effect" (wikipedia). Get cured go to ent.
