Jaw surgery: Go back to the surgeon for an evaluation. Get a second opinion if necessary. Make sure the dentist who treats you has extensive training and experience in tmd\tmjoint problems and is well respected by colleagues.

See jaw surgeon: See the surgeon who did your surgery. He would be best able to evaluate your problem. Alternatively, see the most experienced oral surgeon in your area who also understands TMJ problems.

See OFP specialist: Or your surgeon for complete evaluation, x-rays and treatment. Orofacial pain specialists are experts in TMJ disorders. Tmd should be viewed as a group of related conditions that can be divided into disorders related to the muscles of mastication and those emanating from the tmj. Rec.: schedule an appointment asap to prevent future complications.
