What can instantly relieve head pressure/tension?

Tension: If it's a steady, dull, muscle tension type headache, tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen usually help. If it's a throbbing migraine type headache, other prescription type medications may be needed and you would have to see a physician for diagnosis and treatment.

Stretching temples : It depends on the cause; common tension headaches can be due to muscular tension and stretching the temples by massaging them with fingertips could be helpful. Also try taking some ice in a thin cloth and rub it on the temples and back of the neck.
