Doubtful from the: Description of movement. If you have been on atypical antipsychotics - that can be a cause for extra body movements. Don't know which mood stabilizer you are on to check side effect profile. Have you ever had tics? Does your psychiatrist do aim's tests on you. Discuss this with your psychiatrist.

Schizoaffective : It is unlikely that your shakes are due to seizures or convulsions. It could be extreme anxiety or side effects from medications of antipsychotic type like seroquel, geodon, (ziprasidone) Abilify or risperdal. Please see your doctor to identify the cause of those movements and follow thru the recommendations to prevent them.
