Can i use monistat 1 (tioconazole) and metronidazole vaginal gel at the same time?

Maybe: I typically tell patients if they have both conditions to use one medication at a time. Having said that, i don't think you can cause harm by using both medications. Possibly just reduced efficacy in treating the infections. Sometimes i will use vaginal antifungal and Metronidazole orally.
