Appointment: Typically this isn't a problem. It's very common for women to make appointments with the gynecologist and later find out that they are on their menstruation. Given that our pap smears are liquid-based nowadays it's often possible for pap smear to be collected. My recommendation would be to keep the appointment.

Bleeding: If you problem is related to excessive bleeding you can be evaluated while bleeding. We can determine how much or how severe the bleeding is at that point. Good luck.
