Acetaminophen: Acetaminophen in low doses is considered safe if the patient has no underlying liver disorder and does not consume alcohol. The fda recommends that normal individuals take no more than 4 g of Acetaminophen per day and have recently been taking steps to lower the amount of Acetaminophen in certain medications. So to answer your question it is safe in reasonable doses in healthy individuals.
