Let time tell...: Nitrofurantoin is a drug resisting to brew a resistant bacteria despite its use over decade and decade. Generally speaking, if bacteria is sensitive to it, irritative voiding will improve withinin 1-3 days after taking it. If not, it suggests bacteria is not sensitive to nitorfurantoin or some other causes implicated for voiding symptoms. So, keep close contact with doctor for detailing... Best.
