Anxiety?: You've seen the doc and been scoped and still have breathing concerns, relieved by eating. It may be anxiety based. Eating can be a distraction for the feelings. Stress management w/psychologist can help. A licorice supplement called dgl can be helpful for reflux. Peace and good health.

Listen to your body: Hunger is due to fluctuating low blood sugar. Low blood sugar can cause many symptoms because it irritates the autonomic nervous system. Avoid tobacco, alcohol, and junk food, eat 6 equal healthy meals with fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, high quality protein, beans and unprocessed grains to keep blood sugar balanced. Sleep 7-8 hours, exercise through the day, and manage stress skillfully.

Details needed: It can be many things but if this is a persistent problem, you need to see a doctor to check you out. I didn't see any symptom suggestive of an overactive thyroid or diabetes to account for your hunger either.
