You might have: Influenza or another viral infection. Please let your parents know that you are feeling ill. If you have temp over 104 you need to be seen. Your parents can check on you ; insure that you are hydrated, warm ; resting.

No: Go to the hospital only if you have difficulty breathing, vomiting, diarrhea that are uncontrollable, altered mental status or worsening of your condition. Otherwise, make sure you are hydrating yourself and take Ibuprofen to help get the fever down. In most cases, viral causes of fever resolve in 3-4 days but if it is not better, see your regular physician in the office.
