No discharge ?: Neither have any previous knowledge. That you carried a sexually transmitted disease like herpes? Could possibly be a urinary tract infection but would be odd to share an ordinary uti. Best to visit the doc and have it checked out.

Probably OK...: Stinging urination in young persons commonly leads to think about UTI , which needs to be confirmed with urinalysis from properly collected specimen. But bacterial UTI happens simultaneously in a couple is uncommon, but, instead, we need to consider if this burning is std-related. But for the time being, i would leave it alone as slowly and surely getting better and watch ... If not, see doctor..
