PulmonaryTest/M.D.: With your history of shellfish allergy, one possibility is that you were exposed to something that caused an allergic reaction. Asthma is associated with a dry cough and/or wheezing, the sensation of chest tightness. Not all asthmatics are allergic though. I would recommend monitoring your temperature, obtaining pulmonary testing and checking with your doctor.
