Primary hypertension: So there are definite physiology things that cause high blood pressure. You are describing a pimary hypertension and not essential hypertension. Look to other things like sleep, kidneys, blood vessels. Look for autoimmune workup and kidneys. Make sure to check blood pressure both arms as well.

Essential HTN: Has no exact cause. Sometimes genetics play a role. Work with your doctor to keep it controlled.
