Husband has hypertension and high calcium and low vitamin d in blood work what is this caused from possibly?

Several possibilities: some serious Need investigation , simple explanation , more common is he could have essential hypertension ( high B P ) with parathyroid adenoma. ( and lack of sun ) where calcium levels will be high with low Vit D levels. See your doctor for evaluation and test s first on list will be PTH ( Parathormone ) levels.

Hypertension with hi: Hypertension can result from hyperparathyroidism. I would recommend getting the following labs: calcium, 25 OH vit d, intact PTH at a minimum all on the same blood draw. If PTH and calcium are elevated, you would have the diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism.
