Papilloma: It is a growth related to human papilloma virus. It is known as warts on any part of the body. There are many different strains of hpv, some are associated with increased risk of cancer. You should have the lesion excised and send to pathology.

Benign growth: A papilloma is a small benign epithelial tumor, consisting of an overgrowth of cells on a core of smooth connective tissue. This should be confirmed by a biopsy and preferably removed.
