Ask your dentist 1st: It's always best to ask your dentist who did your wisdom tooth extraction this question. So he is aware of your pain and concern, and note it in your chart. Often times, the position of the mouth, having to be left open for a long period of time can cause you're left TMJ to be affected, your jaw, and ear on the opposite side. He should know how to treat this. So give him a call.

Fair question...: I would say the pain on the left side is something else most likely. However, i would rule out first pain in the left jaw joint which may be caused by having your mouth open during the root canal procedure.

Sinus infection: can lead to tooth pain which migrates from one tooth to another which crosses anatomical boundaries such as from the right side to the left side and the ear. See your PCP for evaluation and treatment.
