Occasionally: There are some dermal bonding agents or glues that may be used. However, the usage of said agents is not common. One has to be very careful when using them about the eyes and face. Usually we'll close with a sub dermal absorbable suture, and reinforce the closure with strips. We also use staples or traditional nylon sutures on occasion. Hope this helps. Good luck.
