Social anxiety: An antidepressant that is good for treating anxiety, such as the ssri's, can help with social anxiety. By reducing your anxiety, it can help you feel more comfortable in social situations . These meds take a while to work and i doubt you will become an extrovert. But it could definitely help you be more comfortable socially. Work with a psychiatrist to get your best result. Good luck!
