Can carrying a heavy baby around cause me to have neck pain and headaches?

Perhaps: Maybe. Try stretching your neck (move your head in all directions, side to side, forward backward, turning left & right). Strengthen the muscles by isometric exercise. Push your head right, resisting with the hand, holding 30-60 seconds. To the same to the left, forward, and backward.

Yes: Especially if you carry the baby in front of you. I suggest getting a backpack to carry the baby in as the weight will be more evenly distributed.
