Pinched nerve?: Hard to say from the info you provided. Transient numbness, tingling, or burning sensation is often due to irritation or pressure on a nerve. Ulnar nerve at elbow compression can cause numbness into ring and small finger. Median nerve pressure at wrist can radiate to middle -ring finger web space. Holding a handle in your hand for a long time may cause this. If it persists get it checked out.
