Interstitial lung: Scarring is the end result of a healing and repair process. The interstitial tissue of the lung surrounds the airways. A high resolution ct scan of the lung will help your doctors determine the underlying cause by examining the patterns of the scarring on ct scan. Depending on the extent of the scarring, breathing can be affected or not. Please follow up with your physician.
