"Levator snap": Is what i named it when found what it represents. Sound ; tactile crepitations emanate from where levator scapulae muscle inserts on superior scapula angle (ssa), which acts like guitar pick ; strums distal levator as it encounters ssa as entire shoulder mechanism is in motion of relative rotation in saggital plane. Often heard across the room. Locus exquisitely tender in fibromyalgia sufferers.
