Dermatologist: Please make an appointment with a skin specialist. If steroids are not working you need someone else to take a fresh look. See a dermatologist.

See derm: Not sure if you saw a skin specialist yet (dermatology), but now would be time. They specialize in skin conditions. Hand dermatitis can often be exacerbated by constant hand washing and/or other activities that cause a person to do something to their hands chronically. Since the rx steroid creams have not worked, best to see the specialist, and maybe even get a scraping bx diagnosis. Good luck.

Dermatology?: Of all the doctors you have been to, have you seen a dermatologist? Don't despair, hopefully there is a doctor out there who can help your condition! sometimes you may need to see the same doctor a few times to see if a treatment is working or fails. If you do not follow with the doctor, then it does not give then the opportunity to effectively treat your condition!

Steroid creams may: not be the answer. there may be a fungal or bacterial component that isn't being addressed with the steroid cream.
